were home safe
Well folks we are home and safe , we had a great trip and much was accomplished for the Lord . We want to thank all who contributed to this misson trip ,it would not have been possible without you , your prayers were so appreciated as well . Although we had some excitement along the way we were protected by Gods watchful eyes . I know there will be more to do in the future so we will let you know what the plans are . If anyone would like to sponsor a child at the school ,there are many children waiting and praying for someone to sponsor them so they too can to school with their friends . You can contact karen at karenhuxter@hotmail.com and I know she would be glad to set you up with a sponsored child for only $ 200.00 per year - that covers their uniform, books , tutition and some to pay teachers salary . The children are also fed while they are there , a huge blessing . well must go , God Bless you All Gerry

Thrilled to see another blog done so those following can see that you all arrived home safe and somewhat sound. I wanted to do a short one while waiting, but since the experienced bloggers had left I couldn't seem to get it to work properly.
You were a fantastic team. I want to thank all 12 of you who came and gave so much of yourselves. You all worked very hard, in difficult circumstances and surroundings, and in intense heat. You have all made a difference in the lives of people throughout our area by giving them hope. "Without hope the people perish." Because of the HATS school parents have hope of their children receiving an education. Schooling is the hope people in Haiti have for changes to happen. Thank you for all the hard work on the part of those who came and those who stayed behind and supported in many ways.
You are all missed. I want you to know that it is just too quiet and lonely here now. Alex thinks so too as he keeps looking for all his big friends.
